Kim is the first certified Brainspotting Practitioner in Kansas!

Kim received her undergraduate degree from Wichita State University. Upon completion of her bachelor’s degree, Kim went on to receive her Master’s degree in social work at Newman University where she was a member of Phi Alpha honor’s society as well as Pi Gamma Mu.  Kim holds licensure in, and practices, in multiple states via telemedicine.

Kim is trained and working on completing certifications in Perinatal/Postpartum Mood anxiety disorders, through Postpartum Support International (PSI) and in Brainspotting. Kim has completed brainspotting trainings under Dr. Pie Frey, Dr. Melanie Young and with the founder Dr. David Grand.  Kim’s experience includes utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Family Systems, psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness techniques, maternal mental health and PMADS .

  Kim is an active member through PSI and through the Rocky Mountain Brainspotting Institute (RMBI).
